Bayern Munich says Vincent Kompany is stable and now undergoing tests after collapsing at training, with assistants covering duties as he focuses on recovery.
Bayern Munich has released a statement regarding the health of head coach Vincent Kompany following reports that he collapsed while observing the club's reserve team in training on Friday, leading to an emergency hospital visit.

Reports suggested he was airlifted to hospital after the incident, though his condition has since been described as stable.
Bayern stated that members of Kompany's coaching staff will handle his responsibilities on a temporary basis while he focuses on his health and recovery.
The club's board member for sport, Max Eberl, made clear that there would be no pressure on the manager to return to the dugout before he is fully fit. Eberl expressed full confidence in the backroom team's ability to manage the squad in the interim and conveyed the club's support for Kompany during his recovery.
The collapse comes after a difficult few weeks for the 40-year-old, who had been battling a viral infection earlier this month. The illness left him dealing with fatigue and leg pain, affecting his ability to fulfil some of his regular media commitments. Following Bayern's commanding 6-1 win over RB Leipzig, Kompany was absent from the post-match press conference, with assistant coach Aaron Danks stepping in on his behalf.
The manager later addressed his condition after Bayern's midweek draw against Arsenal, admitting that he had not given his body adequate time to recuperate and had pushed through the illness rather than resting properly.
With Kompany now under medical care, his assistants are expected to lead training sessions and handle preparations for Bayern's Bundesliga match against Freiburg on Sunday, 25 October. The club has expressed confidence in its coaching staff to manage the situation, though the priority at present remains ensuring their head coach receives the care he needs before any return to his duties.
